WHAT WE BELIEVE

HOLY SCRIPTURE
We believe that the Bible is God's inspired and authoritative word, and it is all we need.
JESUS CHRIST

We believe in Jesus Christ, who is fully God and Man, was born of the Virgin Mary through the Holy Spirit. His death was a perfect sacrifice that paid the full penalty of our sins, making God's forgiveness possible. He was buried and rose from the dead three days later. He ascended to be with God and now serves as the perfect High Priest for all who believes in Him. He will come agin to receive His people and establish His kingdom.

SIN
We believe that the Bible is God's inspired and authoritative word, and it is all we need.

-
The unity of the Godhead with the distinction of Persons in that unity namely, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit to whom equal honour and glory are due.
-
That in consequence of the fall of Adam, man became “lost” and at “enmity against God”; that he is also “without strength” to do the will of God.
-
The need of the Holy Spirit’s work in regeneration and sanctification.
-
That the justification of the sinner before God is by faith in Christ alone.
That every justified one is also born of God.
That such new birth takes place when the sinner repents and personally accepts the atoning work of Christ.
That the new birth results in and is made evident by holiness of life and good works through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
That there is only one baptism but many fillings, that the Lord Jesus Christ baptises every believer and all believers in His Spirit and so into His Body, the Church, this taking place at conversion. “Baptism in the Spirit” is not separate from and subsequent to conversion. We are exhorted to be “filled with the Spirit” which should be the continuous experience for every believer. -
At death, the spirit of man does not cease to exist or become unconscious. The believer enters into the presence of God eternally and the unbeliever enters into eternal condemnation.
-
The Church is a spiritual organism comprising all who truly believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ Himself is the Head of the Church which is His body and members are responsible to Him for personal growth, for mutual care and for witness to the world.
